During his visit to Mingachevir, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev became familiar with the Interenergy LLC in Mingachevir on March 3, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
President of Azerenergy joint-stock company Etibar Pirverdiyev told the Head of State that Interenergy established in 2006 is the unique company in the CIS area.
In 2008, Interenergy done total construction and repair work valued at 35,480,000 manat and 1,403,500 manat respectively. The company employs 1,400 workers. The average salary is 460 manat.
The reinforced concrete factory, operating in a triple mode, employs 640 people. In 2008, a mechanical assembly and metal poles manufacturing department was commissioned in the factory. In 2008, the company produced 8,200 cubic meters of reinforced concrete structures, including poles for electric wires of high voltage. The plant purchases a part of raw materials from Ukraine and Russia.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev also familiarized himself with Mingachevir Izolit Open Joint-Stock Company.
The Company manufactures high-quality products for major companies of the United States, Russia, Kazakhstan, and other countries.
Raw materials are brought to the Company from Russia, Ukraine and Saudi Arabia.
It has 155 employees with average monthly wage 206 manat. In near future the number of jobs will be increased to 400.
Mingachevir Izolit was completely privatized in April 2008. The enterprise produces general-purpose pipes from plastic glass, special-purpose electrical pipes and cylinders, isolators for power transformers, pipes for various purposes, used in drilling and operating oil and gas wells, etc.
Mingachevir Izolit produces high-quality products for large enterprises in Russia, Kazakhstan, the U.S. and other countries. The Halliburton Enerji Servis tested the pipes in Brussels and gave positive feedback.
Equipment in the shop producing polyethylene and polypropylene products is brought from Turkey. Products manufactured in the shop are used for laying water, gas and sewer lines. Raw materials are purchased mainly from the Republic of Korea.
Marketing agreements are expected to be signed with foreign companies in the near future.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev inaugurated the "River Side" hotel in Mingachevir.
The 4-star hotel is bright evidence to the work done in tourism sector in the country.
The hotel which is situated on bank of the Kur River covers 7,000 square meters. It has 30 rooms, a conference hall, restaurants, a sport hall and others. The hotel meets all international standards.
