The Russian Transport Ministry and Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan have inked documents on international railway-ferry through service.
A communication between the Astrakhan, Makhachkala and Turkmenbashi hubs will be established.
The document includes rules of transportation, access to the use of freight cars and containers, and includes the Council on railway crossing.
Russian Transport Minister Igor Levitin and Turkmen Railway Transport Minister Deragulu Mukhammetkuliyev attend the first meeting of the transport ministers of littoral Caspian Sea countries.
