Some 53 accidents took place in production work of Azerbaijan in the first quarter, Head of Labor Inspection at the Labor and Social Protection Ministry Nabi Shukurlu said at the conference dedicated to the Labor Protection Day on April 28.
"A total of 15 people died and 45 - injured in production work in this period," Shukurlu said.
In accordance with results of the inspection's monitoring, 9 accidents took place because of enterprises, 22 accidents - the injured, 12 accidents - enterprise and injured and 10 - due to outside interference.
