The Baku-Kars-Baku flight which was suspended in December due to a winter season will be resumed on May 25, the Turkish Cihan news agency reported, citing the statement by Azerbaijan's Consul-General in Kars (Turkey) Hasan Sultanoglu.
Sultanoglu said "Azerbaijan Airlines" (AZAL) Closed Joint Stock Companies (CJSC) is already completing the technical work in this direction. "The flight was launched July 21 2008, but because of the winter season it was suspended in December," the consul said.
The flight will be implemented via planes of ATR brand acquired by AZAL in 2008.
Previously, the airline flight was carried out by the Turan air company via Tu-154 planes.
The flights were carried out on Mondays and Fridays at 08:30 Baku time. The price of tickets in one end was 146 manats and both way - 256 manats.
