The Azerbaijani Airlines (AZAL) commences commercial lights Baku-Tbilisi-Batumi-Tbilisi-Baku of June 1.
President of Georgia Micheil Saakashvili, who is on a state visit in Baku, will partake at an official ceremony of opening of the flight and will fly to Batumi via this route.
According to AZAL, this flight will be operated two times a week at 08:30 at local time on Monday and Thursday. The flights will be carried out by French ATR aircraft.
The cost of one-way ticket is 219 manat and return ticket - 414 manat.
