Tbilisi's municipality approved project to increase budget in the amount of 64 million lari ($1 - 1.65 lari). This decision was made at the meeting of municipality on June 9.
Major part of funds will be spent on improvement of road and other infrastructure of Tbilisi, mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava said.
"Roughly 48 million lari will be spent on construction of a new road from Varaziskhevi to Tamarashvili that allow unloading traffic on Pekin and Chavchavadze prospects," Ugulava said.
Other 4 million lari will be allocated on construction of four iron bridges for foot-passengers to be constructed in busy motorways of Tbilisi.
Roughly 28 milion lari will be spent on rehabilitation and reconstruction of old Tbilisi, as well as completion of tunnel on Rike.
Tbilisi's budget hits 591 million lari after regular increase of budget.
