Georgia likely to renew cooperation with Israeli insurance company

Georgian Minister for Economic Development Lasha Zhvaniya left for Israel to meet with representatives of Israeli state insurance company Asra.

The company insures Israeli investments abroad. Georgia was also in the list of insured countries till August 2008. After the Georgian-South Ossetian conflict Georgia was excluded from the list.

As a result of three-month negotiations, memorandum will be signed this week. Under the document, the company will insure the first project with the value of $20 millions.

This project covers construction of hospitals with 815 beds in 23 regions of the country, as well as in Tbilisi.
