Azerbaijan, Baku, August 11 / Trend E. Ismayilov /
Azerbaijani Railway CJSC will launch dismantling of electric railway line at Zabrat II-Gala routing Baku-Absheron on August 12, head of CJSC press-service, Nadir Azmammadov, said on August 11.
"Operations on dismantling must have launched on August 11 but due to bad weather they will be made on August 12," Azmammadov said.
Main reason of dismantling of this railway line is reduction of passengers' flow in electric trains for the last years and un-profitability of these trips. "Un-profitability of trips damages economic state of railway greatly," Azmammadov said.
Railway line and other technical plants will be dismantled but usable materials will be used at other plots.
Azmammadov said that thirty-kilometer single-lane railway line Zabrat II - Mashtaga - Baglar - Buzovna - Zagulba -Sahil - Mardakan - Gala will be dismantled stage-by-stage. First, materials of upper construction left after dismantling of this line will be used during overhaul of double-cavity line Zazali-Ganja, single-lane Heybat-Baladjari and double-cavity Guzdek-Vash-Khirdalan.
