Some 4.96 million tons of non-oil goods have been exported via southwestern Khuzestan province as of March 21 (beginning of current Iranian year), four times of the figure for the same period the year before.
The value of the exported goods stands at $2.146 billion which shows 42 percent increase in comparison to the previous year's figure, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting reported.
Petrochemical, industrial, mineral, and agricultural products were the main exported items; and South Korea, India, China, Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates were the main destination countries.
