Georgia, Tbilisi, Sept. 4 / Trend , N.Kirtzkhalia/
The rate of the national currency has fluctuated in Georgia for several days. Over the past two days, the lari's official exchange rate against the U.S. dollar fell by 27 points and was 1.6856.
Experts believe that the slight drop in the national currency may be an indicator of the country overcoming the economic crisis. This, in their view, is reflected in the fact that people have begun to spend more money.
Other experts do not consider the lari's fluctuation as a sign of overcoming the crisis. They believe the crisis has not yet passed and people prefer using dollars over lari.
