The director of Mashhad International Fairground said that the first international exhibition of printing and packaging industries of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) country members will open tomorrow in that city.
The Mehr News Agency quoted Mohammad Seyedi saying that over 300 domestic firms and 50 foreign companies will take part in this show.
Companies from ECO member states as well as firms from other countries such as Japan, Taiwan, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, the UK and Holland have participated in the fair.
The show will run from November 19 to 22 opening at 10 a.m. and closing at 7 p.m.
ECO is an intergovernmental organization involving seven Asian and three Eurasian nations including Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
It provides a platform to discuss ways to improve development and promote trade, and investment opportunities.
The common objective of ECO is to establish a single market for goods and services, much like the European Union.
ECO''s secretariat and cultural department are located in Tehran, its economic bureau is in Turkey and its scientific bureau is in Pakistan.
