Azerbaijani subsidiary announces results of activity for January-June

In January-June, Azerbaijani insurance premiums AIG Caspian Insurance's premiums amounted to 1,05 million manat with payments worth 35.442 manat, the company said. The company is a subsidiary of American Chartis (AIG Insurance). The premiums for voluntary insurance amounted to 901.629 manat with payments worth 38.442 manat. During this period the company did not provide life insurance services.

Premiums for other insurance other than life in the first half amounted to 901.629 manat with payments worth 38.442 manat, including personal insurance - 6.841 manat with payments worth 5,600 manat, property insurance - 894.788 manat.

Premiums for compulsory insurance for the period amounted to 149.013 manat.

The founders of AIG Caspian Insurance are the Azerbaijani side having 51 percent and Chartis -49 percent. Authorized capital is 3.5 million manat.
