The insurance company AzSigorta took the third place for the volume of insurance premiums for the first time since its establishment. The official data was provided by the Azerbaijani State Insurance Supervision Service, the company reported.
The volume of insurance premiums amounted to 7.67 million manat in January-July 2010, or more by 25 percent compared to the same period of 2009.
During the report period, the company's net profit amounted to 1.327 million manat, or more by 3.947 million manat compared to the same period of 2009 (an increase of 200 percent).
AzSigorta operates on the insurance market of the country since November 2006. The company provides 37 types insurance services, of which five are compulsory. The company's authorized capital amounts to 4.643 million manat. The company employs over 180 people.
