The industrial goods price index decreased by 0.1 percent in October, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.
The prices in the oil and gas sphere fell by 0.3 percent.
The prices on industrial goods in all areas of the mining industry increased by 3.9 percent.
The prices for paper and paperboard products increased by 7.6 percent, for metallurgical industry and metal products (except machinery and equipment) -- 2.3 percent, for refined petroleum products and coke - 0.8 percent, for rubber and plastic products - 0.7 percent, for food production - 0.6 percent, for tobacco products -- 0.3 percent and for the beverage industry -- 0.1 percent.
Prices for pharmaceutical products fell by 2.1 percent, for the spinning industry -- 1.6 percent, for apparel manufacturing -- 0.9 percent, for the iron and steel industry -- 0.7 percent, and for other nonmetallic mineral products -- 0.3 percent.
