Georgian minister satisfied with Azerbaijani company's activity

A concrete laying on the 15 -kilometer stretch of the Sveneti-Ruisi highway (Eastern Georgia) has been completed. Georgian Regional Development and Infrastructure Minister Ramaz Nikolaishvili familiarized with the progress of work yesterday.

A concrete laying on the 15 -kilometer stretch of the Sveneti-Ruisi highway (Eastern Georgia) has been completed. Georgian Regional Development and Infrastructure Minister Ramaz Nikolaishvili familiarized with the progress of work yesterday.

The construction of two 800-meter tunnels and two 880-meter high racks are underway today. Works are carried out round the clock in order to complete them by May next year.

"Work completed in the right lane of the road in the direction of Ruisi and I consider regard it as success. This road should be built up three months later, we were able to complete it by year's end," Nikolaivshili said.

The Azerbaijani company Akkord carries out the construction work, but mostly local workers are engaged in the work.
