Turkish Airlines intends to increase number of flights on route Istanbul- Nakhchivan-Istanbul

It is planned to increase the number of flights on the route Istanbul-Nakhchivan-Istanbul, the Turkish newspaper Zaman quotes the head of Turk hava yollari airline's representation in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Gokhan Haciibrahimoglu, as reporting.

Flights on the route are carried out by Anadolujet Airline, which is a subsidiary of Turk hava yollari.

According to him, in the summer season flights are carried out three times a week, in winter - twice. In the summer occupancy of flights hits 90 percent, in the winter - 60 percent.

Flights on this route have been already carried out for seven months and during this period 17,000 people have been carried.

"Our goal is daily flights," Haciibrahimoglu said.
