The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan transferred 70.15 million manat to the state budget at the expense of collection of customs duties and taxes in January, the SCC reported on Wednesday.
Income from customs duties hit 14.866 million manat, value-added tax of goods imported into the country - 52.26 million manat, excise taxes - 2.2 million manat, road tax - 0.819 million manat.
For 2011 the forecast of transfers through the SCC increased by 1.8 percent (20 million manat) to 1.120 billion manat.
Last year, the State Customs Committee fulfilled the forecast at 100.16 percent, transferring 1 101.73 million manat to the state budget compared to the planned 1.1 billion manat
The official exchange rate is 0.7958 manat to $1 on Feb. 9.
