Azerbaijani Airlines (AZAL) received the repaired aircraft "Airbus-319", damaged during a landing at the Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul last summer, a source in AZAL said on Friday.

The source said the plane arrived in Baku and necessary documents for the first flight after repair are currently being prepared.

The Airbus-319 Aircraft carrying out Baku-Istanbul flight J2075 went off a runway while landing at Istanbul's Airport on Aug.12, 2010. The pilot failed to adjust the speed after landing. As a result, the front part of the undercarriage bent and the aircraft fell to the fuselage, damaging the surface of the engine.

There were 119 passengers and eight crew members on board the Airbus-319 (flight number J2075). No one was injured.
