The Khatam al_Anbiya Company of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC) will start building 60 new breakwaters, Fars News Agency reported head of the IRGC construction arm and Khatam al-Anbiya Company Rostam Ghasemi as saying.
"The breakwaters boost economical strength and secure the borders in coastal areas," he said.
Ghasemi noted the construction of 60 breakwaters started on Friday (June 3). He voiced hope the projects in Hormuzgan, Sistan balouchstan and Bushehr will be implemented as soon as possible.
The Khatamal-Anbiya commenced building 33 breakwaters this solar year (started March 20, 2011).
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Thursday inaugurated several breakwater projects in two southern provinces of Hormuzgan and Bushehr.
