Azerbaijani ambassador to Cairo Shahin Abdullayev urged the Egyptian Investors Union to promote trade relations between the two countries and to invest in Azerbaijan, chairman of the transport and energy department of the Egyptian Investors Union Mohammad Said was quoted by "Al-Youm-Assabi" newspaper as saying.
"Azerbaijani ambassador to Egypt expressed his country's readiness to promote the trade turnover between the countries, as the Egyptian food industry, medicine and building materials are in great demand in Azerbaijan," Said said.
He added that the Egyptian Investors Union will hold meetings with ambassador Abdullayev to discuss the ways to develop trade relations between the two countries and opportunities for Egyptian investors in Azerbaijan.
