Iran will construct a rail road on the sideline of Caspian Sea, Mehr News Agency reported quoting Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as saying.
"The railway plan will join Iran's Gorgan and Rasht cities and we hope it will be implemented until summer," he said.
He noted Iran, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan agreed on a transit route. "Launching the railway road on sideline of Caspian Sea can take a major role to be a transfer route among the region countries.
Three main railway projects are planned in three countries and we hope the transit from north to south and south to west become activated, he added.
