The Iran Agriculture Ministry forecasted the wheat production volume to reach 12 million tons this year, Mehr News Agency reported referring to the Government Trading Corporation. The Iranian new year begins in March.
The Government Trading Corporation of Iran reported that the country imported less than 5.4 million tons of wheat since early this year.
