Georgia, Tbilisi, November 11 / Trend, N. Kirtskhalia /
Despite poor weather conditions, the Georgian section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway is being built round-the-clock, Georgian Regional Development and Infrastructure Minister Ramaz Nikolaishvili told Trend on Friday.
He said the construction covers the Marabda-Kartsakhi section near the Georgian-Turkish border.
Nikolaishvili said he is pleased with the pace of construction carried out by an Azerbaijani company. Azerinsaatservis is building the Georgian-Marabda-Kartsakhi section.
"We have no claims about the quality or the pace of the work," the minister noted.
