Consumer prices and tariffs for services in Azerbaijan increased by 0.1% in January compared to the previous month, the State Statistics Committee said on Monday.
In January, food prices increased by 0.1% although industrial goods and service tariffs remained unchanged.
The prices for semolina, lamb, sausage, pasteurized milk, butter, corn oil, tangerines, apples, pears, quinces, pomegranates, chestnuts, cabbage, nuts all increased during the month.
Despite those rises, the prices for flour, bread, buckwheat, beef and chicken, fresh fish, sunflower and olive oil, eggs, lemons, bananas, oranges, carrots, garlic, onions and potatoes all decreased.
