Living wage in Kazakhstan ups by 6.6 percent in June

Indicator of average living wage per capita in Kazakhstan increased by 6.6 percent in June 2012 compared to the previous month, Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan said on Monday.

A growth in average living wage per capita hit 2 percent in June compared to the same period of last year.

Average living wage per capita is calculated based on minimum rate of consumption of consumer staples.

Share of costs of meat and fish in the structure of living wage hit 22.7 percent, milk, oil and fat products, and eggs - 15.2 percent, fruit and vegetables - 12.6 percent, bread and cereal products - 7.3 per cent, sugar, tea and spices - 2.2 percent.
