Inflation rate in Iran hit 22.9 percent in the fourth calendar month of Tir, which ended on July 21, showing 0.5 percent rise compared to the previous month, the IRNA News Agency reported.
The Central Bank of Iran has reported that inflation rate has been rising since the beginning of the current year.
While the inflation rate was declining in the past year, it started to rise again in the current year, so that it rose from 21.8 percent in the first month to 22.9 percent in the fourth month.
