Slovenia welcomes Azerbaijani investments in Maribor airport construction

Slovenia offers Azerbaijan to use its experience in the field of road and railway construction, Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Technology Radovan Žerjav said during the Azerbaijani-Slovenian business meeting in Baku today. The Azerbaijani delegation at the meeting was headed by minister of economic development Shahin Mustafayev.

"Slovenia has rich experience in the field of road and railway construction and is ready to share it with Azerbaijan. We are interested to see Slovenian companies in Azerbaijani projects," Zerjavin said.

He said that hydropower engineering, pharmacy, ICT and tourism are perspective fields for cooperation.

"Maribor airport construction operations are underway. We would like to see Azerbaijani investments in this field," Zerjavin said.

Both parties demonstrated investment opportunities of their countries at the meeting.
