The U.S. will support the financial stability of Georgia in its transition period, U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Richard Norland said following a meeting with the country's Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri on Wednesday.
He said one of the major projects implemented by the United States in Georgia, is the Millennium Programme.
The sides discussed the programme's goals and the progress of projects funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). They also discussed the prospects of development of Georgian-U.S. relations.
