As of January-July 2013, money supply (M2) (cash in circulation (outside banks) and remainders in the domestic currency on accounts of non-financial organizations, financial (excluding credit) organizations and physical entities) increased by 21.16 percent compared to the same period of 2012, the Azerbaijani Central Bank's statistics report said.
So, as of first seven months of 2013, the rate of M2 was 14504.4 million manat compared to 11971 million manat in the same period of 2012, the report said.
The amount of cash money supply (M0) increased by 18 percent and hit 9455.1 million manat compared to 8012.3 million manat as of the same period of 2012.
As of January-July 2013, Broad Money Supply (M3) totaled 17435.8 million manat or 18.59 percent more compared to the same period of 2012 (14703 million manat).
The transaction money (M1) increased by 19.06 percent and amounted to 11514.9 million manat compared to 9671.2 million manat in January-July 2012.
