The Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park of the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry has announced two tenders for the purchase of operations on communication creation in a 167.66 hectare area, the tender commission said on Tuesday.
According to the report, the first tender will determine a contractor for creating an electric power system at of the park. The proposals for this tender must be submitted by 17:00 on November 13 and the bids will be opened at 12:00 on November 14.
The second tender envisages laying a storm sewer system for the chemical industrial park. Bids will be accepted until 17:00 on November 12, 2013. The bids will be opened at 12:00 on November 13, 2013.
The cost of participation in the tender is 500 manat.
Moreover, the company has extended its bid acceptance period for laying the external gas line for the park until 17:00 on November 1. Bids will be opened at 12:00 on November 4.

The Azerbaijani President's decree on the establishment of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park was signed in December 2011. According to the decree, the Ministry of Economic Development was instructed to implement measures that support the creation and development of production and processing areas related to the chemical industry at the park to enhance the potential of the chemical industry of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), establish private enterprise in this field and obtain competitive products from local raw materials.
