Georgian Finance Ministry, EBRD signs new loan agreement

The Georgian Finance Ministry and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) signed a loan agreement on Friday worth 25.2 million euros which envisages the construction of power transmission line from the Kavkasioni power transmission line to the Jvari substation and the line between Jvari and Khorga substations.

The Georgian Finance Ministry and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) signed a loan agreement on Friday worth 25.2 million euros which envisages the construction of power transmission line from the Kavkasioni power transmission line to the Jvari substation and the line between Jvari and Khorga substations.

The agreement was signed between the Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri and EBRD Director for Caucasus, Moldova and Belarus, Bruno Balvanera.

In addition, Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze, his deputy Ilia Eloshvili, Chairman of the Management Board of Georgian State Electrosystem Sulkhan Zumburidze and representatives of the EBRD also participated in the ceremony.
