Turkmen parliament approves bills

The 23rd parliamentary meeting of the fourth convocation was held in Ashgabat. Some new bills and legal acts were approved and adopted, the Turkmen government said on Thursday.
The bills on 'Amendments and Additions to the Law of Turkmenistan', 'State Pension Insurance', 'Martial Law', 'Order of the Code of Administrative Offences' were discussed during the meeting, according to the report.
Moreover, the bill on 'Certification' which defines the legal basis of product certification, product quality system, operations and services was discussed.
This document aims to ensure security of products, operations and services for the life and health of people, protection of citizens' property and the environment, protection of the interests of physical and legal entities in compliance of quality of product and operations and services with regulatory requirements for certification, according to the report.
The report says that all the proposed bills were unanimously approved and adopted by parliament.
