By Fatih Karimov - Trend: The United States of America is among the most telephoned countries by Iranians, the Tasnim News Agency quoted an Iranian telecommunications official Hossein Madanipour as saying on Jan. 22.
Canada, UK, and Germany are also among the most telephoned countries, he said.
Among the regional countries, Afghanistan, Iraq, and the UAE are the most telephoned countries, he said, adding that Armenia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan ranked next.
Iranians speak around 80 million minutes per month with other countries using telephones, he noted. They are in touch with all countries worldwide, except for Israel, he explained.
