As of January 1, 2014, Azerbaijan has held official talks with the World Bank (WB) on 51 projects, and loan agreements worth $3349.5 million were signed to finance them, according to Azerbaijani government's report on year 2013, submitted to the country's parliament.
Implementation of 35 projects worth $1,136.18 million has been completed in Azerbaijan, and now the realization of 16 projects totalling $2,213.32 million is continuing.
As of January 1, 2014, Azerbaijan has used WB loans worth $2,076 million, which is 62 percent out of the total raised loans.
Aside from these loans, in 1995-2013 the WB provided Azerbaijan with 44 grants totaling $41.336 million.
Azerbaijan has been a WB member since 1992.
