Azerbaijan imported around 26,732 vehicles in January -April, 2014, versus 30,737 vehicles in the same period of 2013, a report of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee said on May 16.
Around 23,893 vehicles out of the total number of ones imported fell to cars and motor vehicles designed for passenger transportation, according to the report.
This figure was equal to 27,741 in January -April, 2013.
In total, Azerbaijan imported some 104,385 vehicles in 2013, versus 101,255 vehicles in 2012. Around 94,879 vehicles out of the total number of ones imported fell to cars and motor vehicles designed for passenger transportation.
This figure was equal to 89,652 in 2012.
Moreover, around 2,496 trucks were imported to the country in January-April, compared to 2,356 trucks in the same period of 2013.
The remaining part of the vehicles imported in January -April, fell to other types of vehicles.
Some 7,823 trucks were imported to Azerbaijan in 2013, compared to 9,433 in 2012.
