Azerbaijan has introduced new requirements for obtaining a construction permit.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan approved by its decision the list and the requirements for the application of additional conditions for obtaining construction permits. The text of the decision was published in the official press Sept.26.
In accordance with the approved document, in case of construction works (restoration and recovery) in areas that are declared contaminated from an environmental point of view by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, it is required to obtain additional permission.
Furthermore, an additional authorization is required in case of negative impacts (physical and mechanical, physical and chemical, on the stability) of the construction works on the stationary monuments of history and culture, as well as in case if the construction is conducted close to the specified monuments.
A single form of authorization for the operation of construction objects was adopted by another decision of the Government of Azerbaijan.
