Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili opened the Poti grain terminal in Poti (Western Georgia).

"Around $600,000 were allocated as part of the agriculture development," he said.

The total cost of the project amounted to about $2 million, the Georgian government told Trend.

"The government always helps the private sector," Garibashvili said. "On behalf of our government once again I want to tell you that I will personally support any good and useful initiative or project to be submitted by the private sector."

"At present, a stable political and economic situation is observed in Georgia," he said. "It is of great importance for the development of the private sector."
