Azerbaijan exported goods worth $127.55 million to Georgia in January-February 2017, 38 percent more than in January-February 2016, according to a report of Georgia’s National Statistics Office.
The report says Azerbaijan ranks the second among main exporters to Georgia with a specific weight of 12 percent (9.9 percent in January-February 2016).
Turkey is the leader among main exporters to Georgia with $163.35 million (15.3 percent), being followed by Russia with $103.6 million (9.7 percent).
According to the report, Georgia’s trade turnover with Azerbaijan amounted to $146.04 million in January-February 2017. The specific weight of Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Georgia is 10.3 percent of total volume of Georgia’s foreign trade operations.
