Sixty-one deals were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week, the country’s State News Agency reported.
Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan for foreign currency purchased motor gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries. In addition, refined cottonseed oil, denim fabric and cotton yarn were sold for foreign currency.
Russia, the UAE, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, etc. were the buyer countries. The total price of the deals exceeded $37.11 million.
Entrepreneurs from Russia, the UK, the UAE and India purchased refined cottonseed oil and Sarajin wool for a total of over 8.07 million Turkmen manats.
Also, Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased wheat worth over 1.3 million manats for the domestic market.
