Uzbek O’zsanoatqurilishbank Joint-Stock Commercial Bank carried out first foreign transaction on export of Uzbek Metal Works JSC’s products worth $5 million within the framework of agreement signed with Tajik Orionbank OJSC during the state visit of Uzbek president Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan, the press service of the Uzbek bank said in a message.
According to the statement, the Uzbek bank issued a loan to a foreign bank to finance export of Uzbek products for the first time.
The O’zsanoatqurilishbank JSCB is also planning to issue long-term credit lines aimed at promoting export of Uzbek goods and services.
Implementation of such banking mechanisms and presenting of such financial services to foreign bank will increase competitiveness and export volume of Uzbek products on foreign markets.
