The annual production volume of mineral water by the Azerbaijani company Gakh Mineral Water-Ilham may be increased 3-5 times, head of the company Jamal Mukhtarov told Trend Oct. 1.
“Presently, the company produces 1 million bottles annually, nevertheless, its capacity allows increasing production to 3 million, and even to 4 million bottles,” said Mukhtarov.
He added that the increase in production is associated with the company’s plans to expand the geography of sales, in particular, to foreign countries.
“There is such a need, because we fully meet the demand of the population in the domestic market, and we need to find potential buyers in other countries,” he noted. “Our products are in the greatest demand in spring and summer, while in winter and autumn there is a decrease in sales, and we also have to consider this factor.”
Mukhtarov stressed that the mineral water “Gakh” is completely unique in its qualities and it can be stored for five or even seven years.
“During this time, water doesn’t lose its quality and taste, even when packaged in bottles,” he added.
The company is located in Gakh district, the village of Suskend.
