Denmark's Alliance Capital K/S plans to build a paid 12-kilometer section of the motorway bypassing Akhangaran (town in Tashkent region), Uzbek media reported.
The company's specialists have calculated that over 20,000 cars pass through the center of this town every day. The cars have to cross busy intersections and pass near educational institutions, trade, entertainment and social objects. That results in traffic becoming more intense, and speeds getting limited by security requirements.
A toll road with high quality concrete pavement will get all the necessary infrastructure elements along it: 24/7 service stations, cafes, gas stations. Several lanes of the road will get higher driving speeds. Special vehicles, such as cars of law enforcement services, ambulance carriages, vehicles of emergency services will have traffic privileges.
On top of that, a consortium of Turkish companies Cengiz - Kolin - Kalyon plans to build a toll road Tashkent - Samarkand.
