Iran imports over 1.5 tons of fountain pens

In the first six months of the current Iranian year (started March 21) Iran imported over one ton of fountain pens from three countries, Mizan News Agency reported referring to Iran's Customs Administration (IRICA).

The reports state that Iran spent $17,571 on 1,874 kilograms of fountain pens.

Fountain pens were imported from Germany, Switzerland and China (including Hong Kong).

In terms of value China (mainland) accounted to the largest share of Iran's fountain pen imports with 1,743 kilograms worth $8,383.

China is followed by Germany which accounted to $3118.

Switzerland and Hong Kong (Special Administrative Region of China) complete the list with $4,846 and $1,224.
