An agreement on the construction of a factory for the production of ceramic tiles was signed at the Baikonur Invest international forum in the Kazakh city of Kyzylorda, Trend reported with reference to Kazakh media.

The agreement was signed at the plenary session of the forum by Deputy Governor of Kyzylorda region Evgeny Kim and Chairman of the Board of Turkish Rino Asia LLP Dogu Gokhan Efe.

The project of construction of the factory in the Kyzylorda region is designed for 2019-2021. The production capacity is 21 million square meters of ceramic and porcelain tiles.

"This is a very big project. All issues are resolved, the land plot is allocated. In the future, this factory will cover the need for ceramic tiles throughout Kazakhstan," Kim said.

It is worth noting that the factory investor presently holds negotiations with the equipment supplier. A technical plan for the placement of production equipment has been developed and a land plot of 100 hectares has been allocated.

Currently, documents are being prepared for the factory’s inclusion in the Industrialization Map and the conclusion of an investment contract. Also, laboratory work is underway to analyze the chemical composition of raw materials.
