Iran launches $3B warehouse project in Chabahar
Tehran, Iran, Dec. 7
Iranian officials have launched a warehouse project in Chabahar.
Iran’s Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Rastad and other officials inaugurated the build-operate-transfer (BOT) warehouse project at Chabahar's Shahid Beheshti Port, Trend reports citing ILNA.
The $3 million project will be complete in 24 months and the warehouse will have an annual capacity to store 600,000 tons of goods.
The project will create job opportunities for 221 people.
The US re-imposed sanctions against Iran exempt India to invest in the Chabahar Port Project to develop Afghanistan’s economy.
