Uzbekistan for the first time presented its textile products at Pure London, the largest fashion trade exhibition in the UK, Trend reports via the Uzbek media.
Brands and designers from around the world demonstrate shoes, accessories, as well as collections of ready-made clothes on this site.
Uzbekistan was represented among 700 participants from around the world at Pure London.
Uztextileprom demonstrated textile products of Nil Granit LLC and Istiklol Textile Design LLC at the stands allocated for Uzbekistan.
Within two days, thousands of specialists and guests visited the Uzbek stands, and negotiations were held with several international companies.
In particular, the British company Sewport, which unites more than 6,000 global brands, offered the Uzbek side promotional services through its online platform, which will enable the Uzbek companies to advertise their textiles, exchange commercial offers and sign contracts free of charge.
Turkish company Finitura Felice, which is a part of the Yelkenci Group, confirmed its readiness during negotiations to open a joint venture in Uzbekistan for the production of men's suits using European technologies.
Moreover, representatives of Uztextileprom agreed with the director of British company AG Plado, Antonio Plado to supply the first trial batch of men's suits and jackets from Uzbekistan to the British market.
