Uzbekistan produces more than 17,000 cars

Uzbekistan produced more than 17,460 passenger cars in January 2019 which is 38.8 percent higher compared to the same period in 2018, Trend reports with reference to Uzbek State Statistics Committee.

Uzbek State Statistics Committee stressed that the production of trucks increased 2.1 times in the reporting period - up to 367 units.

Uzbekistan in January 2019 produced 74 buses, which is 1.9 times more compared to the same period in 2018.

The output of automobile engines in Uzbekistan in January 2019 increased by 78.1 percent and amounted to 16,430.

In January 2019, the output of tractors was 9 units, which is 91 percent less compared to the same period in 2018.

Regarding gasoline, its output decreased by 31.8 percent to 71,600 tons in January 2019.

The volume of diesel fuel production amounted to 81,700 tons in January 2019 which is 14.2 percent higher compared to the same period of 2018.

At the same time, Uzbekistan reduced oil production by 5 percent to 60,600 tons.

Natural gas production in January 2019 amounted to about 5.24 billion cubic meters, which is 2.9 percent more compared to the same period of 2018.

Finally, Uzbekistan produced more than 185,400 tons of gas condensate which is 0.3 percent less compared to the same period of 2018.
