Iran's Bid Boland Gas Treating Plant saves $4M

Iran’s Bid Boland Gas Treating Plant in Khuzestan province has saved 200 billion rials ($4.76 million in official exchange rate and $1.35 million in black market) last Iranian year (started March 21, 208), Managing Director of Bid Boland Gas Refining Company Ali-Mohammad Pour-Reza said, Trend reports via Shana news agency.

He added that 75 percent of the spare parts purchased by the company last Iranian year were local products.

“The company has set a goal to benefit from local manufacturers,” he said.

There is an 85 percent progress in construction work at Iran’s Persian Gulf Bid Boland Gas Treating Plant, he noted.

This plant is being constructed by the syndicate of Bank Sepah, Bank Mellat, Bank Tejarat, Bank of Industry and Mine organized by the management of the Bank Sepah with the investment from the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industry Company and the National Development Fund, which are the plant’s main investors.

The Bid Boland Gas Refining Company will produce 1.03 million tons of methane, 1.49 million tons of ethane, 1 million tons of propane, 490,000 tons of butane, 400,000 tons of gas condensate and 922,000 tons of acid gas per year.
