Baku-based pasta factory “Karmen” may significantly increase production volumes by the end of this year, the factory’s marketing director Ilgar Ahmadov told Trend.

The factory is able to increase production volumes by 1.5-2 times, he said.

“The capacity of our factory allows us to produce 80 tons of pasta and 24 tons of bucatini (pasta variety) every day,” he noted. “Thus, the factory is able to produce 104 tons of pasta every day. If there is more demand, we are ready to double these volumes in the next few months.”

The marketing director noted that the growing demand for factory products is the incentive to increase production capacity.

He said that the plant uses German equipment, as well as that from Italy for bucatini production.

The manufactured products have a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.
