Italian company ITEMA and Belgian Picanol will supply 200 machines to Uzbek silk-processing enterprises, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
Representatives of the Uztextile and Uzbekupaksanoat associations reached that agreement with the companies at the international textile machinery exhibition ITMA-2019 in Barcelona.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Spain, together with ITMA Services, organized for the Uzbek delegation meetings and negotiations in B2B format with Spanish textile and silk products manufacturers.
Moreover, meetings in Barcelona were also held with the leadership of Texcoms Worldwide, the French Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association and other leading foreign companies, where the parties discussed the supply of high-tech textile machinery to Uzbekistan and assistance in bringing Uzbek textile products to the world market.
